Iida-Shimoina region

Sekai o tsunagu is a member of Southern Nagano Rural Travel Consortium - SNRTC. SNRTC was estbalished in January 2025 and we are handling foreign tourists visiting southern Nagano region which is definitely one of the off the beaten tracks in Japan.

Nagano is one of the 47 prefectures in Japan, located in the middle of the main island, Honshu. Then, southern Nagano includes Iida-Shimoina region which is located along Tenryu river.

There are 1 city, 3 towns and 10 villages located in the region. The only city, Iida is the core of the region. The region is famous for fruits harvesting, which you can find delicious apples, grapes and persimmon grown in this region.

Sekai o tsunagu is one of the few travel agencies which can handle this region for foreign tourists. Thanks to membership of SNRTC, we have very strong ties not only in Iida-Shimoina region, but also in entire southern Nagano.
